Carmine’s was opened in 1994. Shannon purchased Carmine’s in August of 2005 and was joined by operating partner Brad in 2006. Together, they have given Carmine’s a facelift featuring artwork by local artist Kerry Kice who adorned our old building’s interior with murals and artistic paint touches. We have both been fans of Carmine’s since the beginning so our changes are modest as we seek to keep the real flavor that has been so popular. Thank you for your support today and through our history.
Is our food Italian?
We trace our concept not so much to Italy, but rather to the concentrations of Italian immigrants in America in the late 1800s. Imagine a time when extended families gathered for a meal together that was prepared with time, love and attention to flavor and detail. The sauce would cook for hours to marry flavors. Ingredients were grown in the back yard or gathered from local markets. Every effort is made to provide the family with the best meal possible in generous portions.
